announce the release of our second tape in
our
historic Warner
Brothers animation retrospective. Made in 1930 to
1932,
these classic
animation gems feature Warner Brothers first star, Bosko.
The style of the
animation is classic "rubber hose" at its
best.
As is our custom, all
of these tapes are duplicated in SP speed in
Hi-Fi.
The films are also
slightly window-boxed to avoid overscan picture
loss.
These films are
invaluable to colleges, universities and film
students.
With the ever-growing
interest in animation and animation art, this
series
also appeals to all
types of animation collectors.

REVIEW
Bosko Video digs into
its vault of cartoon treasures once again
to
present volume two of
its "Uncensored Bosko" series!
Bosko was the Warner
Studio's first
animated star, and these shorts feature some of the
best
music in cartoons at
the time. The music
director, Frank Marsales,
deserves a great deal
of credit for his sprightly arrangements. Many
sound
effects are performed
by syncopated xylophone, woodblock and cowbell
rhythms placed into
the score to punctuate the action. This
collection
features some of
Bosko's best cartoons.
The picture and sound quality
of
the films in this
collection is outstanding.
The cartoons are
mastered
from the best
available prints, and transferred to videotape using
state-
of-the-art
equipment. The VHS
cassettes are duplicated in VHS Hi-Fi.
You
won't find better
copies of these cartoons anywhere else. If you
love
classic cartoons,
you'll certainly want to add this wonderful tape to
your
video
collection.
